The British Virgin Islands are a British\n dependency located in the Eastern Caribbean, about 80 kilometers East \nof Puerto Rico. Company law<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The International Business Company Act (Cap.291), the IBC Act, is a \nmodern piece of corporate law tailored specifically to the needs of \ninternational businesses. The Act makes it possible for the \nadministration of an IBC to be undertaken either in the BVI or from \nanother jurisdiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Points of Interest\/ Advantages<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Incorporation under the IBC Act provides the following benefits and features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n HOW TO INCORPORATE AN IBC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Any person (natural or juridical) may \nsingly or jointly with others (in the BVI or elsewhere) incorporate an \nIBC by subscribing to a Memorandum and Articles of Association. The \nusual procedure is for a nominee to act as incorporator. Our company, \nOmegaserve offers the service to act as sole incorporator. When the \ncompany is registered, control of the company is passed over to the \ninterested party by appointing as first directors (individual or \ncorporate) those indicated by the client.
